Accounting IBA Specialist

In this role you will manage an international client accounts portfolio within an insurance context, overseeing cash allocation, credit control, and payments while resolving legacy issues. You ensure timely reconciliation of cash, accurate ledgers, and timely management information for internal stakeholders. You will liaise across departments to resolve cash queries and maintain compliant, high-quality financial processes. Responsibilities

• Investigate and allocate cash and reconcile receipts
• Manage credit control and ensure debts are collected within agreed terms
• Process and reconcile cash movements and maintain ledgers within timescales
• Produce accurate management information and statements for clients
• Liaise with departments on outstanding cash queries and legacy issues
• Monitor client money payments to intermediaries and brokers
• Notify about potential bad debts and escalate as needed
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Ensure compliance with relevant group policies and procedures
• Influence stakeholders to achieve timely and accurate financial processing

Key requirements
