Overview
In this role you will join Clarke Willmott’s Housing Management team to support social housing providers and local authorities. You’ll handle a mix of litigation and advisory work on tenancy management, antisocial behaviour, and policy drafting, contributing to a fast-growing, well-regarded practice. You will work with cross-functional colleagues to deliver high-quality client service and help the team sustain its national framework work. Responsibilities
- Litigation and advisory work for housing management clients
- Possession proceedings including anti-social behaviour, sub-let, failed succession and trespass
- Advice on tenancy management, income, relationship breakdown, succession, assignment & mental health
- Equality Act / public law advice
- Injunction proceedings against tenants, shared owners/leaseholders and non-tenants
- Review and drafting of policy, procedure and tenancy agreements
Key requirements
- Experience working in a Housing Management team
- Experience representing Registered Providers / Local Authorities (preferred)
- Ambition and interest in the social housing sector
- Supervision of junior team members
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality client service
- Ability to multitask on a varied caseload
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Advocacy experience (advantageous but not essential)
