Responsibilities
- Manage cost and contractual aspects of projects to meet financial and sustainability targets
- Produce cost plans, forecasts, and budget reports
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients
- Monitor project performance and mitigate risks
- Identify cost efficiencies aligned with decarbonisation objectives
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to meet/exceed expectations
Key requirements
- Strong cost management, analytical capability, and attention to detail
- Solid commercial awareness and financial understanding
- Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for sustainability
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., RICS)
- Experience on decarbonisation or sustainability-focused projects
