Overview

As No.1 Site Manager in the Special Works Division, you will lead refurbishment projects up to £1m, coordinating delivery and safety on site. You’ll work within a reputable main contractor with a track record across Education, Healthcare and Commercial sectors, ensuring high-quality, efficient project outcomes. This role offers daily Oxford-site access and the opportunity to shape refurbishment programmes in a regional context. You’ll be pivotal in driving successful, well-managed projects that support the division’s growth and client partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects within the Special Works Division
• Manage refurbishment projects up to £1m in value
• Coordinate on-site activities and teams to ensure quality and schedule
• Ensure compliance with safety and procedural standards
• Maintain strong client relations and smooth project handover

Key requirements

• First Aid
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• Full UK Driving licence
• ability to commute to Oxford daily
• experience with smaller refurbishment/extension projects up to £1m
• experience in Education, Healthcare or Commercial sectors
• Degree qualified or other relevant construction qualification (ideally)
