Overview
As Faculty-level leader, you will direct student support and welfare efforts and oversee the Student Support and Success team to enhance student outcomes. You will drive inclusive, data-informed education initiatives aligned with UCL’s strategy and EDI objectives, collaborating with peers to embed equitable practice across curricula and co-curricular activities. You will manage faculty-level casework, address awarding gaps, and act as a key liaison with UCL’s student success networks. This is a mission‑driven role at a renowned research university with impact on student experience and success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee faculty-level student casework requiring approval or intervention
- Coordinate student support programmes and departments handling individual casework and welfare
- Lead on faculty student success initiatives and promote data-informed approaches to education
- Embed equitable practices across curriculum and co-curricular activities
- Oversee projects addressing awarding gaps and student engagement
- Act as liaison with UCL’s student success networks
Key requirements
- Experience overseeing or coordinating student support processes
- Experience leading or overseeing student casework, decision making and risk management
- Management experience in a relevant role
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Knowledge of policy and best practice around access and participation
