Electrical Engineering Supervisor

Overview

As Electrical Installation Supervisor, you will coordinate, supervise and verify electrical installation activities on SPX FLOW process systems. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, engineering teams and I&C to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality installation, planning and pre-commissioning. You help prepare installations for commissioning by reviewing scope, specs and local regulations, and by guiding subcontractors and site teams. This role offers exposure to diverse projects across Europe and internationally, with a clear impact on project safety, quality and delivery. Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate electrical installation activities across projects
• Review electrical scope, specifications and local regulations
• Lead site surveys, FAT inspections and commissioning readiness
• Configure equipment (VFDs, PLCs, switches) and ensure panel quality
• Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors and on-site teams
• Inspect cable routing, containment, terminations, earthing and bonding
• Manage punch lists, documentation and drawings markups
• Support pre-commissioning activities and safe energisation

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years in electrical installation, commissioning or industrial electrical engineering
• Experience supervising electrical contractors or installation teams
• Knowledge of industrial electrical installations, standards and local regulations in Europe
• Familiarity with VFDs, control panels, testing and fault finding
• Fluent English
• Electrical certification (e.g. BS 7671 18th Edition or equivalent)

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate with mechanical, commissioning and engineering teams
• Problem-solving and issue resolution under field conditions
• Cable termination, glanding and panel wiring
• Testing: continuity, insulation resistance, loop checks
• Electrical power systems energisation and safe isolation
