Technical Coordinator

Overview

In this role, you will govern and enhance site quality and safety systems to ensure compliant, high-quality dairy products. You’ll partner with operations to drive continuous improvement, audits, and performance reporting. You’ll build quality capability across teams and support waste reduction and efficiency gains. The position offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a clear impact on product quality and customer trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and governance for Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Drive continuous quality improvement across the site
• Support quality investigations and problem-solving activities
• Build quality capability within operational teams
• Support quality control responsibilities in operations
• Produce and maintain Quality Index reports
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Deliver continuous improvement projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business performance
• Support colleagues in PDP continuous improvement objectives

Key requirements

• Previous experience in a Technical role
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Experience in using A3 problem-solving methodologies
• Knowledge of retailer codes of practice
• Experience supporting or leading BRC audits
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• HACCP Level 3 qualification
• Food Safety Level 3 qualification
• Advanced Food Hygiene knowledge
• Understanding of microbiology principle
• Dairy industry experience highly desirable
