Frontend Javascript Developer

Overview

In this role you will build and evolve the frontend for a market-leading fintech product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features and maintain a cohesive UI. You contribute to a modern UI stack and help shape the architecture by prototyping new ideas and adopting best-in-class technologies. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product team to prototype and deliver UI features
• Work with backend developers to implement new capabilities
• Maintain visual consistency and design quality across the UI
• Participate in agile ceremonies and drive small, incremental deliveries
• Contribute to testing strategy with unit tests and CI
• Prototype and evangelize new technologies to influence architecture

Key requirements

• JavaScript or TypeScript proficiency
• HTML and CSS fundamentals
• Experience with React, Redux, Styled Components, Apollo GraphQL
• Experience with backend systems such as Node.js, GraphQL, and REST
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and testing (Webpack, Jest, Cypress, Prettier)
• UX and visual design sensibility is a plus
