Overview
In this Tax Manager role, you will oversee the founders’ tax affairs and related entities from a London-based family office. You’ll lead tax compliance, strategy, and planning across private client, fund, and corporate matters, with an eye to cross-border considerations. The role collaborates with tax, legal, and investment advisers to optimise structures and forward-looking tax opportunities. You will directly support the principals, driving meticulous, commercially-aware tax solutions in a hybrid, full-time setting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance across direct (personal, corporation, partnership, trust) and indirect (VAT) taxes
- Coordinate tax enquiries and manage tax strategy and planning, including succession planning
- Identify tax optimisations and model tax impacts for investments and exits
- Review investment and sale opportunities and advise on appropriate structures
- Collaborate with tax, legal, and investment advisers; support ad hoc projects as required
Key requirements
- Chartered tax accountant (qualified)
- Minimum 4 years PQE
- Strong UK tax technical depth across private client, fund, and corporate matters
- Exposure to foreign tax regimes (desirable)
- Experience in family office or private client practice
