Penetration Tester

Overview

In this role you will join Bytes’ Assurance Testing team to perform hands-on penetration testing across infrastructure, web, APIs, mobile apps, and cloud configurations. You will contribute to client engagements under guidance, while also developing skills toward certifications in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment. The position blends technical delivery with scoping input for proposals and continuous improvement of testing services. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver real value and help shape the company’s testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing across infrastructure, web apps, APIs, mobile apps, red team exercises, and cloud configurations
• Deliver high-quality penetration testing services that provide real value to customers
• Support internal R&D and service enhancements under team leadership
• Collaborate with sales to scope opportunities and create proposals for engagements
• Manage customer engagements to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables

Key requirements

• BSc in Cyber Security or 3 years relevant experience
• Any reputable penetration testing qualification (OSCP, GPEN, Security+, CPSA, CEH, CRT)
• 1–3 years of penetration testing / security experience, 1 year in consulting
• Ability to pass BPSS or HMG SC vetting
