Conveyancing Lead – Swansea – 4+ Years’ PQE

Overview

In this role, you will lead and grow a residential conveyancing team in Swansea, balancing fee earning with people management and business development. You will own a busy caseload, mentor junior staff, and strengthen relationships with local agents to drive office growth. You’ll work with senior management on strategic improvements and ensure excellent client care and consistent billing. Responsibilities

• Build and manage a residential conveyancing caseload
• Win work and nurture relationships with local agents and brokers
• Develop referral sources (advantageous but not essential)
• Lead marketing and business development for the Swansea office
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth and performance
• Ensure high-quality client care and consistent billings
• Handle high-volume work independently and efficiently

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
• Minimum 4 years’ PQE
• Strong experience in freehold and leasehold transactions, new build matters, transfers of equity, shared ownership/equity, remortgages
• Ability to manage volume caseloads without supervision
• Excellent client care and communication
• Previous management experience within a conveyancing team or department
• Based in Swansea office (min 4 days/week, 1 day WFH)
