In this London-based Program Manager role, you’ll lead a major spacecraft mission from design through mission readiness, coordinating cross‑disciplinary engineering teams and ensuring on‑time delivery. You will anchor schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communications across all work packages, maintaining high standards for space‑grade quality. Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a complex spacecraft mission aligning with objectives and customer expectations
• Own programme schedule, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure on‑time delivery
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (systems, electrical, mechanical, RF, software, payload, AIT) to maintain coherence
• Oversee risk management and mitigation with engineering leads
• Manage budget, resources, and reporting ensuring transparency throughout the lifecycle
• Lead technical and programme reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) for readiness and quality
• Maintain stakeholder communication with progress, risks, decisions, actions
• Ensure compliance with high‑reliability space standards, quality requirements, and constraints
• Oversee configuration control and documentation of changes
• Support spacecraft integration, test, verification, and transitions to AIT and mission readiness
• Drive process improvements in programme delivery and communication
• Represent the programme in senior discussions and strategic planning

Key requirements

• Mandatory space industry experience with spacecraft programmes, satellite development, or mission‑critical space projects
• Proven experience managing complex technical programmes with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of spacecraft development lifecycles (design, integration, testing, verification)
• Skilled in schedule management, milestone tracking, and programme‑level planning
• Experience with risk management, issue tracking, and mitigation planning
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and communicate with engineering leads and stakeholders
• Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Experience leading programme reviews and reporting to senior management
