Overview
In this role, you lead initiatives to improve business processes using methods like Lean and Six Sigma, driving quality, cost reduction, and higher productivity. You will define scope, gather and analyze data, and deliver well-documented process improvements with measurable outcomes. You’ll collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders, support change management and training, and ensure follow-through on initiatives, including compliance and QA efforts. This hybrid Manchester-based position blends hands-on process work with cross-functional collaboration to deliver lasting client-focused improvements.

Responsibilities
- Apply process definition, improvement and design methods to enhance quality, reduce costs and boost productivity
- Aggregate improvement data and use metrics to measure outcomes
- Own initiatives from inception to implementation, defining scope, timeline and deliverables
- Create documentation to support analysis and improvements (business requirements, specifications, process maps, gap analyses)
- Foster strong working relationships with internal clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to training and change management materials and activities for new processes
- Coordinate follow-up meetings and use improvement tools to sustain results; assist QA and compliance processes
- Support regulated and monitored activities
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- Three years of related experience with progressive responsibility
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Process improvement certification (e.g., McKinsey Lean, Six Sigma) preferred; ability to obtain certification within 2 years
