Overview
In this role, you will lead the development of market-leading software for the Equity Derivatives Group, working within an agile, collaborative environment. You’ll build and support high-quality solutions that empower traders, sales, quants, and product owners across global teams. Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative software solutions and troubleshoot complex technical problems
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, traders, sales and quants to deliver best-in-class software
- Work in an Agile/Scrum team to analyze requirements and implement changes
- Support business processes and end users in production environments with technical expertise
- Lead and contribute to communities of practice to promote new technologies and devex
- Foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Key requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 3+ years of applied software engineering experience
- Experience with Java/JVM and Spring Boot
- Experience with TypeScript/React development
- Experience with object-oriented design and microservice architectures
- Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong understanding of design patterns and clean code
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Experience partnering with product and engineering teams
