Overview
In this role you will join a Bristol-based Residential Development & Property team to manage high-end residential real estate matters. You will collaborate with the wider Real Estate division, handling complex conveyancing and development work while supporting junior lawyers. The position offers clear progression under senior leadership and a chance to grow the practice with the firm’s client base. You will contribute to client service excellence and sophisticated transactions in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of residential real estate transactions
- Lead residential development projects
- Handle bridging finance and lender-side transactions
- Oversee portfolio refinances
- Draft leases and conduct title splitting
- Undertake complex residential conveyancing
- Coordinate plot sales and site setup
- Draft infrastructure agreements and manage auction transactions
- Support general residential property work as needed
- Advise lenders, developers, and investors on technical matters
- Supervise junior team members and support leadership
- Contribute to business development and grow client base
- Develop own practice with support
Key requirements
- Solicitor or FCILEx with 8+ years PQE
- Strong track record in complex residential conveyancing and development work
- Excellent drafting, organisational and client relationship skills
- Ability to coach, mentor and supervise junior lawyers
- Strong client management skills and service delivery
- Ability to manage own files and delegate effectively
