Responsibilities

• Deliver project work across all lifecycle stages, from masterplanning to detailed design and construction support
• Produce and review civil designs, calculations, reports, drawings and digital models
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for integrated solutions and efficient delivery
• Manage technical delivery with focus on quality, safety and engineering standards
• Support project management activities including planning, resources, and delivery coordination
• Contribute to project commercial performance by tracking progress against programme and budget
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and colleagues to align on project needs
• Plan and allocate team resources and manage deliverables across disciplines
• Mentor and develop junior engineers through coaching and day-to-day guidance
• Take ownership of project delivery activities and influence technical solutions and client projects unknown

Key requirements

• BEng, MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Working towards or having achieved chartership status (MICE, MIStructE or equivalent)
• Experience delivering civil engineering infrastructure or related fields
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
• Project management experience on small projects or packages on larger projects
• Experience engaging with clients, contractors, regulators and other stakeholders
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outputs to programme requirements
