Overview

In this role, you will join JLL’s Affordable Housing team in London to perform complex portfolio valuations of social housing and support ongoing client relationships. You will work under a Senior Director, applying DCF valuation methods and handling large data sets with accuracy. The position emphasizes high-quality reporting, clear communication with lenders and borrowers, and contributing to business development. This is a hybrid, on-site role with occasional national travel, offering an opportunity to influence social housing valuation practice and client service within a market-leading firm.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex portfolio valuations of social housing assets
  • Sustain and enhance client relationships and instructions
  • Support business development and cross-client opportunities
  • Utilize DCF valuation models and manage large data sets
  • Produce high-quality reports in MS Word with attention to detail
  • Explain and justify valuation approaches and assumptions to clients
  • Coach junior colleagues and supervise their work
  • Work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Key requirements

  • MRICS qualification (essential)
  • RICS Registered Valuer
  • 1-6+ years’ PQE
  • Strong experience in valuation using DCF (residential or other asset classes)
  • Fluent MS Excel with data analysis and financial modelling
  • Excellent written English for reports
  • Experience in building and sustaining client relationships
  • Ability to coach juniors and supervise work
  • Strong work ethic and client service mindset
  • Flexible, team player
  • Location: London, on-site with hybrid/remote options
