Solicitor or Legal Executive – Marine Department – Plymouth

In this role you join a Legal 500 Tier 1 Shipping department in Plymouth to provide expert maritime regulatory and litigation support. You will advise on wet shipping matters, drive excellent client service, and help grow the marine offerings. You’ll work across contentious and non-contentious maritime work, collaborating with a cross‑functional team to enhance outcomes for a diverse client base. Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on wet shipping, including P&I and Defence, Admiralty (collisions, pollution, total losses)
• Engage with a diverse marine client portfolio with strong interpersonal communication
• Demonstrate excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
• Contribute to business development through networking and attending industry events in the UK and abroad

Key requirements

• 3+ years PQE in civil litigation with maritime law experience
