Overview
In this role you will lead and hands-on manage PR across the UK & EMEA for Robert Half, shaping external positioning and reputation while directly engaging with media. You will translate global objectives into localized programs, mentor a multi-market team, and advise senior leadership. Based in Central London, you will balance strategic counsel with day-to-day execution and ensure cohesive, high-impact storytelling across markets.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior leadership on external positioning, messaging and reputation management; translate global objectives into localized PR programs across markets to grow awareness and trust.
- Hands-on PR delivery: drafting materials, pitching stories, and direct journalist engagement; plan and execute programs with regional/global teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with media across regions; ensure messaging consistency and manage inquiries and comments.
- Lead thought leadership campaigns by leveraging research and industry trends into multi-format content.
- Lead crisis and issues management, offering strategic guidance aligned with corporate protocols.
- Manage and develop a 5–10 person team across multiple countries; oversee agencies/consultants, budgets and contracts.
- Collaborate with global communications to support integrated campaigns and shared messaging.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive PR or corporate communications experience with leadership and agency/vendor management
- Proven success leading PR strategy across multiple countries in a global or professional services environment
- Experience managing multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams
- Strong media relationships and deep understanding of the European media landscape
- Experience in a publicly listed (PLC) organisation is desirable
