Overview
In this role you will join a respected medical negligence team in Swansea to handle your own caseload under supervision, support senior lawyers on high‑value claims, and maintain close client liaison. You’ll contribute to delivering compassionate, practical guidance through the claims process while gaining exposure to complex matters. Responsibilities
- Manage own caseload of clinical negligence matters under supervision
- Assist senior lawyers on complex and high-value claims
- Liaise with clients, medical experts, counsel and healthcare providers
- Prepare cases for settlement negotiations and court proceedings
- Draft legal documents, witness statements and correspondence
- Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client experience
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor status in England & Wales
- Experience in clinical negligence, personal injury or litigation from training or previous roles
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong drafting and analytical abilities
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage deadlines
