Sr. Social Media Manager – EWC & ENC

Overview

In this role, you shape the social media voice and content for the Esports World Cup and Esports Nations Cup. You’ll craft channel strategies and social campaigns, collaborating with global teams to drive community growth and engagement. You own KPIs and guide content decisions with the creative team, reporting progress to stakeholders. This is a chance to influence a flagship esports event and connect with fans across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support the social media strategy for Esports World Cup and Esports Nations Cup
• Drive implementation of social media campaigns for Esports World Cup and Esports Nations Cup
• Build channel strategy to maximize acquisition and engagement of communities
• Own and monitor KPIs to guide content strategy
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce assets
• Communicate updates and reports to internal stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional work with Marketing, Creative, PR, Sales, and others
• Brief departments, freelancers, and agencies with scopes of work
• Stay informed about cultural trends and audience needs to maintain relevant content

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years in social media or agency work
• Strong understanding of esports market landscape
• Excellent English skills; 2nd language a plus
• Proficiency in social media platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Discord)
• Experience with digital tools (GDrive, Trello, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Pro) and analytics tools (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Brand24)
• Track record of running social media campaigns (organic and paid)
• Experience managing freelance/remote teams and agencies
• Experience collaborating with creative teams, content producers, media agencies, product management, and external stakeholders
• Experience engaging younger audiences in digital space; esports/gaming a plus
• Passion for gaming/esports is a plus
