Overview

In this role you will coordinate editorial workflows and oversee administrative tasks to support editors, authors and reviewers. You will help shorten submission-to-decision times and ensure quality and ethical standards across journals. You will generate reports for editors and leaders to inform strategic decisions and optimize publishing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support a smooth, high-standard publishing operation. Responsibilities

  • Deliver editorial administration to editors, authors and reviewers to meet journal needs and service levels
  • Manage editorial, submission and review processes to reduce lead-time from submission to decision
  • Generate journal and ad-hoc reports for editors and publishers for board meetings and planning
  • Identify and implement workflow/configuration changes to optimize journal performance and publishing policies
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for the submission system to editors, reviewers, authors and teams
  • Communicate with journal community, publishers and cross-functional teams about submission and publication queries
  • Provide cover for other journals in the team during absences
