Overview

In this role you will help elevate Markets Operations through strategic planning and cross-functional coordination. You will translate leadership priorities into actionable work plans, track progress, and support governance and communications for senior stakeholders. You’ll partner with product, process, and risk teams to resolve ad hoc challenges and professionalize internal communications as Citi scales its Markets Operations function. This is a foundational build-out role with exposure to cross-border teams and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business-aligned Operations leaders to drive strategic priorities
  • Coordinate cross-cutting ad hoc challenges and ensure follow-through to resolution
  • Translate strategic direction into concrete workplans, milestones, and accountability
  • Track progress, flag risks, dependencies and resourcing gaps
  • Prepare materials and analyses for senior Operations leadership decisions
  • Support governance routines (steering committees, business reviews, town halls)
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to align efforts and avoid duplication
  • Represent Strategic Initiatives in forums, groups, and project teams
  • Improve cadence, quality, and consistency of communications across Markets Operations
  • Develop executive-ready communications and repeatable communication frameworks
  • Collaborate with Chief of Staff and Communications resources to align messaging
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Contribute to scaling Strategic Initiatives capabilities across London and Tampa

Key requirements

  • Several years of relevant experience in Operations, Trade Support, or Business Management within Markets or a related Financial Services environment
  • Working understanding of trade lifecycle processes (capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across internal stakeholders and external parties
