Solicitor – Commercial Property – Bristol – 6+ Years PQE

Overview

In this role you will lead a busy Bristol-based Real Estate team handling high-value commercial property work across development, finance, occupier, and investment matters. You will build and nurture client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to the firm’s strategy while driving profitable, high-quality work. You’ll collaborate across real estate disciplines and stay ahead of sector developments to deliver innovative solutions. Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a broad caseload of commercial property work (development, finance, occupier, investment)
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and referral networks
• Deliver high-quality, profitable legal work and manage resources effectively
• Support the wider business plan and departmental strategy
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and trainees
• Lead business development initiatives and win new work
• Collaborate with colleagues across real estate, planning, construction and disputes
• Stay current with legal/sector developments and drive innovation

Key requirements

• 6+ years PQE in commercial property law
• Experience in a reputable Real Estate team
• Strong technical knowledge and client management skills
• Proven ability to lead BD activity and win new business
• Health & Social Care Real Estate experience (desirable)
• Excellent communication, delegation and coaching abilities
• Commercial awareness and proactive, strategic mindset
