Overview

As a Finance Business Partner, you will deliver robust financial analysis and management accounting to inform business decisions. You’ll work closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders to support planning, reporting, and process improvements, driving value across the firm. You will lead the development of management information and participate in transformation initiatives. This role offers visibility to board-level reporting and opportunities to shape financial processes in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and process improvement
• Develop accurate monthly management account reports
• Prepare variance analyses against budget and forecasts
• Provide financial and accounting reports to budget holders and department heads
• Support budget holders to understand finances and finance policies
• Build relationships with budget holders and partners
• Lead financial planning, forecast and budget processes with budget holders
• Ensure budgetary control and reporting procedures follow best practices
• Lead development of management information tools and reports
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations where required
• Support daily cash flow forecast
• Design and document business processes and accounting policies
• Support continuous improvement of finance procedures, reporting and systems
• Support Financial Controller and finance team
• Support Finance Director with finance-related projects and board reporting
• Manage team member
• Deliver robust information to deadlines in professional format
• Demonstrate excellent communication and knowledge transfer

Key requirements
