Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and commissioning of PLC/SCADA/HMI systems
• Produce FDS, technical documentation and control philosophies
• Support FAT/SAT and site commissioning
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Troubleshoot and optimise automation systems
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions

Key requirements

• Strong experience with PLC/SCADA platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider or similar)
• Good understanding of instrumentation, control philosophy and systems integration
• Confident communicator with leadership/mentoring experience
• HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering, Automation or related field
• Experience in regulated sectors (water, energy, process) desirable
