Overview

In this role you will lead and shape major capital programme delivery within Deloitte’s Infrastructure & Capital Programmes team. You’ll design and mobilise programme structures, operating models, and capability improvements to enable sustainable performance across sectors. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to steer complex transformations and contribute to cross-functional, multi-disciplinary engagements. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams delivering programme setup, mobilisation, operating model design, and capability transformation initiatives
  • Oversee governance structures, readiness criteria, and organisational design for large programmes
  • Define capability frameworks, conduct maturity assessments, and translate findings into improvement roadmaps
  • Drive transformation delivery including organisational and process changes to embed sustainable improvements
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and executive teams, acting as a trusted advisor on design and delivery readiness
  • Structure complex problems and lead multi-disciplinary teams in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Manage delivery of large-scale transformation workstreams with planning, interdependencies, risks, and performance tracking
  • Contribute to business development by shaping propositions and supporting client proposals and opportunities
  • Mentor and coach teams, fostering collaboration across Deloitte and client organisations
  • Apply consulting experience and industry knowledge to address programme and change management challenges
  • Support knowledge capture, proposition development, and industry trends to inform best practice
  • Engage in thought leadership, industry and account team initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to expand client relationships and deliver value

Key requirements

  • Experience across capital-intensive industries and major capital programmes
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver workstreams or large projects
  • Experience across programme lifecycle stages (setup, mobilisation, operating model design, delivery readiness)
  • Leadership in operating model design, enterprise design, or organisational transformation
  • Capability framework definition, maturity assessments, and capability improvements
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation programmes
  • Strong team leadership and collaboration in ambiguous environments
  • Commercial awareness across infrastructure delivery including risk and governance
  • Project and programme management experience with risk and dependency management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including senior leaders
  • Experience with business development and proposal support
