Production Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will lead Production/repair operations within Safran Landing Systems’ MRO environment, coordinating multi-product kits and ensuring on-time despatch. You’ll drive lean processes, safety, and quality, collaborating with team leads to optimise workflows and enforce airworthiness standards. You’ll shape continuous improvement initiatives and engage frontline teams to elevate performance. Responsibilities

• Lead the team with effective people management and use of reports to support performance and wellbeing
• Own dedicated focal points to control processes (5S, Calibration, Maintenance, H&S, Tooling, documentation, GPI reviews)
• Ensure adherence to works procedures and SOPs at all times
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives (process mapping, kaizen events, 5S)
• Cascade policy deployment across team and wider business
• Control WIP levels, rotable piece parts and SPT reduction
• Ensure adherence to Airworthiness regulations via procedure reviews
• Contribute to QRQC meetings and implement action plans to reduce internal quality issues

Key requirements

• Demonstrable experience leading and managing a team in a production/manufacturing/assembly environment
• Working knowledge of lean principles, ideally Green Belt, and deployment for CI
• Hands-on, efficient approach when needed
• Ability to interpret KPIs and develop corrective actions
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with 8D and QRQC tools (advantageous)
