Overview

As Social Media Manager, you will shape QBE’s organic social presence with LinkedIn at the core, aligning content, tone, and governance across regions. You’ll partner with business leaders to translate strategy into impactful campaigns while driving growth and brand reputation. The role combines strategy, storytelling, and analytics to optimise performance and explore new platforms. You’ll work in a cross-functional digital marketing team to transform how we connect with customers and stakeholders, contributing to a resilient, globally recognised brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the organic social strategy with LinkedIn as the primary channel and a vision for future growth
  • Define content strategy, tone of voice, storytelling principles and best practices across social channels
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into audience-focused content and campaigns
  • Lead regional planning, governance, and coordination to ensure consistency
  • Manage the International social media calendar to prioritise content and opportunities
  • Act as centre of excellence providing guidance and expertise to stakeholders
  • Establish governance frameworks aligning activity with regulatory, brand, and reputational standards
  • Utilise data, analytics and audience insights to optimise performance and inform strategy
  • Explore emerging platforms and technologies to strengthen digital presence
  • Champion AI and innovative tools to enhance content creation, planning, and engagement

Key requirements

  • Strong experience delivering social media strategies for B2B audiences
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries
  • Proven track record of building or evolving social media channels/programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder management with ability to advise and influence senior leaders
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn and its role in brand and business outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling with a focus on audience engagement
  • Outstanding organisational and project management abilities
