Senior Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Overview

As Project Manager, you will lead the design, delivery and commissioning of electrical infrastructure within a regulated setting, guiding cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, cost and safety targets. You will work within the Programme Delivery Team to deliver complex projects for stakeholders and partners, shaping outcomes in a high-stakes environment. You’ll manage NEC4 contracts, budgets and risk, and drive governance and assurance activities. This role offers exposure to multidisciplinary collaboration and impactful, safety-critical projects. You will play a key part in delivering first-rate electrical systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical projects through design, delivery and commissioning phases
• Deliver objectives across scope, schedule, cost, quality and safety
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, clients and partners
• Manage NEC4 contracts, monitor supplier performance and resolve issues
• Control budgets, forecasting and financial reporting
• Develop cash flow forecasts and oversee cost management
• Lead risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities
• Manage change control and configuration management processes
• Support governance, assurance reviews and project gateway assessments
• Review schedules, milestones and delivery plans for successful outcomes
• Lead project teams in line with High Performing Team principles
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and industry partners

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in consultancy and/or construction
• Proven delivery of electrical projects from concept to completion
• Strong NEC4 contract management experience
• Sound commercial and financial management skills
• Degree qualified and Chartered with a relevant professional body
