Quality Advisor – Piling / Ground Engineering

Overview

In this role you will support delivery teams to ensure quality across a high-profile geotechnical construction program. You will engage with the JV’s quality and risk functions to drive standards, audits, and improvements, while training teams and monitoring quality performance through digital systems. You will contribute to the Business Management System and ensure documentation reflects latest requirements, enabling safer, more efficient project delivery. This position offers a chance to influence quality culture on a marquee, cross-disciplinary project and drive digitisation and waste reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery teams to achieve deliverables with quality oversight
• Use digital systems to monitor quality planning, deliverables, defects, and NCRs
• Attend pre-start meetings for major projects with QA/QC requirements
• Provide quality training to drive performance improvements
• Conduct quality inspections and uphold best practices
• Coordinate with Quality Managers and the Risk Audit Quality function
• Develop and implement Internal Audit Programme including supplier audits
• Engage JV partners to align management systems and governance structures
• Oversee Business Management System maintenance and project documentation updates

Key requirements

• Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel
• Experience with accreditation bodies and conducting audits
• Proven track record in driving business improvement and change leadership
• Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts; work to plans and budgets
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and build relationships
• Initiative, resilience and a proactive mindset
• Comfort with modern office systems; CQI Practitioner/Member or progress toward status
