Senior Manager, D&A Strategy

Overview

As Senior Strategy Manager in LSEG’s Data & Analytics Strategy team, you will lead high-visibility initiatives shaping D&A’s strategic direction. You’ll partner with C-level stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to translate market insights into actionable plans. You’ll evaluate trends, tech advances, and competitive dynamics to inform investment cases and strategic choices. This role offers the chance to influence outcomes across the group and contribute to growth through data, analytics, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead central initiatives and reviews across transversal Product & Community or high-impact business-area topics
• Drive initiatives with sponsorship from D&A Leadership Team and collaboration with LSEG leaders and functions
• Review market trends, tech developments, and competitive dynamics using internal SMEs and external research
• Develop actionable strategies with project sponsors and assign clear execution accountability
• Prepare executive briefings and investment cases for senior leadership
• Build strong relationships with divisional leaders and external advisors/consultants

• Experience in corporate strategy and market/competitive landscape assessments
• Ability to translate analysis into pragmatic recommendations and plans
• Experience with commercial due diligence of M&A targets (plus)

• Stakeholder engagement and influencing across diverse teams
• Leadership of virtual, multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge in financial market infrastructure, data, analytics, technology transformation, platform business models, big data and cloud, AI (preferred)
