Overview
You will support and enhance offshore insurance operations across Jersey or Guernsey, working closely with senior stakeholders to manage relationships and contribute to risk-aware portfolio strategies. In this role you help ensure high-quality service and robust management within a dynamic offshore environment. You will contribute to shaping risk and portfolio decisions while navigating local market practices and regulatory considerations. Responsibilities
- Support and optimise insurance portfolios and monitor performance to inform strategic decisions
- Assist in shaping risk and portfolio strategies and ensure alignment with regulatory and internal frameworks
- Manage key relationships with clients, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and service excellence
- Contribute to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities in line with frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust management within an offshore environment
- Provide input on local market practices and regulatory considerations where applicable
Key requirements
- Portfolio management experience in insurance
- Relationship management capabilities with clients, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders
- Understanding of insurance and operational risk and ability to support mitigation
- Knowledge of Jersey or Guernsey financial services landscape is advantageous
