Overview
In this role you will support the Fees, Income and Credit Control Office in delivering income collection aligned with policy, mitigating non-payments, and coordinating debt-related actions. You will work with internal teams and external partners to meet targets and provide clear, compliant guidance on collections. Responsibilities
- Implement and adhere to income and debt collection policies and procedures under direction
- Negotiate settlements in line with guidance without compromising the school’s position
- Maximize debt collection and mitigate risk of non-payments
- Meet objectives, strategic targets, collection targets, and KPIs
- Coordinate bad debt proposals and write-offs
- Resolve queries efficiently for students, customers, and stakeholders
- Advise on legal, compliance and procedural issues
- Serve as point of contact for external collection agent referrals
Key requirements
- CICM qualification or working towards
- Pursuing study or training in Credit Control or CICM Level 2
- At least 3 years of income/credit control experience
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience analyzing data, producing complex reports, and delivering briefings
- Strong planning, time management, project management and organisational skills
