Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the analytical development team, overseeing method development, product characterization, and analytical transfer activities to support project timelines and regulatory submissions
• Set strategic direction for analytical activities, ensuring execution of projects and external collaborations meet quality and regulatory standards
• Drive a ‘Right First Time’ culture, troubleshooting technical challenges and ensuring robust, compliant analytical processes
• Act as the SME during technical reviews, stage gate meetings, and regulatory interactions, supporting R&D leadership with strategic insights and updates
• Mentor team members, identify emerging technologies, and implement innovations to enhance efficiency and data quality

Key requirements

• Degree or higher level in biological sciences, analytical chemistry, or related field
• Proven experience leading analytical development within biopharma or biotech, especially biosimilars
• Extensive knowledge of biologics analytical techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, CESDS, cIEF, CD
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with proven mentoring ability
