Overview

In this role you will manage material procurement for high-end refurbishment projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective supply. You will work from the SE London office, coordinating with suppliers and site teams to keep projects on track. The position offers CIPS training support and a clear path for long-term development within a trusted, family-run contractor. You will develop as a recognised specialist in construction procurement, contributing to quality delivery and steady project flow. This is a hands-on role with real impact on project outcomes and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Place material orders and manage supply to live refurbishment projects
• Coordinate logistics to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee plant/equipment and liaise with suppliers and site teams
• Maintain procurement priorities and respond to day-to-day purchasing needs
• Support ongoing cost control and supplier performance

Key requirements

• Construction background with strong materials knowledge (including costings)
• Experience buying construction materials
