Senior Manager, M&A Technology

Overview

In this role you support and lead complex M&A technology assignments within Deloitte’s market-leading Technology team. You will work on buy-side, sell-side, IPO and refinancing projects across industries, from inception to completion, including post-merger integration and separation work. You’ll engage senior stakeholders, deliver high-quality reports, and help shape IT integration strategies in a dynamic, hybrid-working environment. This is a growth-focused role with exposure to large, high-profile deals and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide deal-relevant IT analysis and recommendations based on robust analysis
• Contribute to transaction documents such as IT integration/separation blueprints and TPS reports
• Produce high-quality M&A reports and deliverables
• Model IT integrations and separations, identifying synergies and costs
• Provide Programme Management Office support to IT workstreams
• Engage with client and colleagues to manage risks, issues, and decision-making
• Research IT cost data, contracts, and licensing details
• Develop reporting skills for senior executives and run large stakeholder workshops
• Develop expertise in strategic thinking, programme and change management
• Ensure client work adheres to Deloitte quality and risk guidelines
• Contribute to business development efforts through thought leadership and sales materials
• Lead diverse teams within an inclusive culture

Key requirements

• Programme management experience in top-tier corporate or consulting environments
• Knowledge of the M&A process and transaction lifecycle
• Experience leading and coaching project teams
• Proven ability to deliver change management and transformation initiatives (IT or business processes)
• Ability to challenge business plans logically and present options to clients
• Strong relationship-building with colleagues and clients
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders
• Full travel mobility
