Instructional Designer

Overview

As an Instructional Designer at BioPhorum, you’ll translate expert knowledge into engaging learning experiences that support industry advancement and commercial growth. You will design instructor-led, virtual, blended, and LMS-enabled programmes, working with subject matter experts to build scalable learning pathways and assets. Your work will help establish a professional learning design capability and expand BioPhorum’s training portfolio for the global biopharmaceutical sector. This role offers the chance to shape the future of learning in a fast-growing business unit and deliver measurable learner impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, blended, and LMS-enabled learning programmes
• Create structured learning pathways, assessments, digital learning assets and facilitator resources
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and the Training Services team
• Establish and promote learning design standards and best practices
• Build reusable and scalable learning products to support portfolio growth
• Contribute to expanding BioPhorum’s training offerings across the biopharma industry
• Shape a growing training business within a collaborative, purpose-driven organisation

Key requirements

• Experience in instructional design, curriculum development or learning experience design
• Ideally with expertise in digital, virtual and blended learning solutions
• Ability to translate complex scientific/technical content into accessible learning
