Recruitment Manager

Overview

You will lead a permanent recruitment team within the Science Perm division at HRS, guiding hands-on recruitment and team development. You’ll drive high performance, manage client relationships, and contribute to events and thought leadership. This role blends leadership with active recruitment to shape teams that change lives through science-focused placements. You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to expand the business and foster a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on recruitment across new and existing client companies, delivering exceptional service and placing candidates
• Develop and leverage client relationships across the group to support expansion
• Coach and develop recruitment consultants, aspiring to lead the office in the long term
• Identify and hire top talent to grow the team; foster best-in-class performance
• Drive a high-performance, sales-focused culture and enable continuous skill and engagement growth
• Regularly meet clients, participate in industry events, and host round tables/webinars
• Lead by example with hands-on recruitment to win in today’s market

Key requirements

• Experience delivering permanent recruitment services in an established environment up to Team Leader level
• Track record of developing recruitment consultants across levels and delivering results in a high-performance setting
• Proven experience in developing new and existing business in a non-framework recruitment environment with full-cycle recruitment experience
• Excellent communication with evidence of exceptional customer service (testimonials)
• IRP certification (MIRP or FIRP) is desirable
