Manager/Associate Director, Car Consulting, Employment Tax

Overview

In this role you will lead market-facing activity and client engagements in Deloitte’s Car Consulting employment tax practice. You will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, nurture senior client relationships, and drive growth in automotive advisory services. You’ll oversee complex advisory deliveries, maintain technical credibility, and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities

• Lead business development and market-facing activities to grow automotive advisory and technology revenues
• Design and execute go-to-market campaigns; identify and convert opportunities
• Develop market-facing thought leadership content (articles, briefings, webinars)
• Represent Deloitte at external events to raise the car consulting profile
• Collaborate across teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and align growth plans
• Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and tender responses
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into client communications and offerings
• Advise clients on automotive consulting and employment tax matters; manage key accounts
• Oversee and quality-review deliverables; manage engagements from scoping to delivery
• Mentor and develop junior team members; contribute to team culture

Key requirements

• Proven track record of business development and winning new clients
• Experience with Automotive sector clients
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage at board/C-suite level
• Commercial acumen and ability to articulate client value propositions
• Experience managing and delivering complex advisory engagements
• Self-starter with resilience for market-facing roles
• Qualified tax professional (ATT, CTA, ACA, or equivalent) with post-qualification employment tax experience
