BMS Project Manager – London

Overview

In this role you will lead BMS delivery for a major commercial and mixed-use development in Central London, coordinating commissioning activities across multiple live projects. You will provide technical leadership to project engineers and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure high-quality, compliant BMS performance. The position supports safe, efficient delivery, leveraging emerging technologies and driving commercial outcomes. This is a chance to shape BMS delivery across a growing team within a well-established MEP contractor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day BMS delivery across multiple live projects
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to Project Engineers
• Innovate and implement efficient BMS delivery solutions
• Stay updated on emerging BMS technologies and tools
• Lead BMS commercial activities with project teams
• Manage project programmes, flag delays, and support recovery planning
• Provide executive reporting to senior management
• Support bids and contribute to new business opportunities
• Act as BMS subject matter expert across the business unit
• Lead procurement for BMS packages across projects
• Coordinate BMS subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance
• Carry out other duties as assigned by line manager

Key requirements

• Proven experience in a BMS Manager role or similar leadership position
• Strong understanding of BMS systems from concept through commissioning
• Commercial awareness including budgets and subcontractor management
• Good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental practices and compliance
• Ability to assess and support team performance and development
