Overview
In this role, you will drive new business opportunities across Europe and the UK aerospace ecosystem for iCOMAT’s RTS technology and automated production capabilities. You will build a disciplined sales pipeline, lead commercial discussions from first contact to close, and work with engineering teams to translate customer needs into viable composite solutions. You’ll engage with OEMs, airframers, and Tier 1 suppliers, representing the company at major industry events and shaping market strategy. This is a growth-focused role in a fast-scaling, innovation-driven company revolutionising lightweight manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new aerospace opportunities across Europe and the UK
- Build and manage a high-value pipeline using a structured sales methodology
- Develop relationships with engineering leads, program managers, and procurement decision-makers at OEMs and primes
- Lead commercial discussions from initial contact to contract close, including pricing and proposals
- Represent iCOMAT at aerospace industry events with technical credibility
- Collaborate with engineering/design teams to convert customer requirements into viable proposals
- Maintain CRM discipline with accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking
- Contribute to market intelligence on competitors, program timelines, and funding opportunities
Key requirements
- 7+ years of business development or technical sales in aerospace, aerostructures, composites, or related advanced manufacturing
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles
- Strong technical fluency for conversations with stress engineers and program leaders
- Experience navigating large aerospace organisations and building relationships at multiple levels
- Commercial instinct with process discipline and active pipeline management
- Willingness to travel up to 30–40% across Europe and the UK
- Excellent written and verbal English; additional European languages advantageous
