Senior Data Analyst

Overview

In this Senior Analyst role you lead end-to-end data projects for marketing clients, guiding junior analysts and shaping data-driven strategies across channels. You’ll work on flagship accounts or multiple clients, supporting new business growth and elevating team practices. You’ll apply SQL/Python, leverage cloud data sources, and use AI tools to optimize creative and media decisions. You play a key role in turning data into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders, driving measurable performanceImpact.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data projects and manage junior analysts
• Shape strategies that use data to drive smarter, cross-channel decisions
• Support new business growth and promote best practices across the team
• Deliver and manage ongoing test-and-learn plans for omnichannel marketing
• Lead initiatives to leverage first-party data for above-the-line media buys
• Drive data quality through progressive data capture efforts
• Utilize RAPP’s AI tools to power creative optimization
• Create multi-variate customer segments and measure marketing impact

Key requirements

• Hands-on with data using SQL and/or Python; able to query data from GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Understand basic statistical concepts (feature importance, regression, clustering; causation vs correlation)
• 4+ years in an agency, consulting, or client-side role with customer datasets
• Ability to translate data into tangible recommendations for non-technical audiences
• Strong communication skills with internal teams and clients; comfortable presenting to non-technical stakeholders
• Curious, detail-oriented, asks questions to understand the ‘why’ behind data
• Comfort working independently and driving projects with limited oversight
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams and contributing to group deliverables
