Electrical Supervisor

Overview

In this role you oversee on-site electrical activities to deliver work safely, to specification and quality standards. You work closely with the Site Manager and coordinate with non-electrical trades to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient site environment. You will manage drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and document control while supporting planning and resource forecasting. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on safety culture and customer satisfaction on major UK projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate on-site electrical activities to meet specifications and safety standards
• Support Site Manager in maintaining safe working environment for all on-site personnel and visitors
• Ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
• Review and enforce Method Statements and Risk Assessments on site
• Record progress on drawings and other media; manage drawing control and material traceability
• Inspect and record incoming materials and accompanying documentation
• Coordinate with customers and non-electrical trades
• Maintain records of variations and assist with Take Over processes
• Apply and promote Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies
• Support quarterly reviews, resource forecasting, and project documentation systems (BSM/4 Projects)

Key requirements

• Proven experience in the water/wastewater industry
• City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualification
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification
• First Aid qualification
• SSSTS/SMSTS certification
• CSCS/ECS card
