Overview

In this role you support strategic commercial opportunities and corporate development across EMEA, collaborating with senior leadership on partnerships and potential deals. You will evaluate data-driven BD opportunities, structure partnerships, and conduct financial analysis to determine value and feasibility. You’ll prepare materials for executives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and stay close to TV, streaming, and programmatic trends. This position offers exposure to senior leadership and a path to develop deal execution and financial modeling expertise in a fast-paced media technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and execute strategic commercial opportunities across media, technology, and data analytics in EMEA, partnering with platforms, OEMs, advertisers, and data partners
  • Prepare business cases with revenue share, minimum guarantees, and multi-year deal economics
  • Create partner-facing decks, term sheets, and deal summaries for strategic discussions
  • Conduct preliminary financial analysis and due diligence on prospective partners, reviewing financial statements and business models
  • Perform industry research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in streaming and ad tech
  • Coordinate with finance, legal, product, and engineering teams to support deal execution and partnership implementation
  • Maintain and report on the partnership pipeline and progress
  • Build relationships with external advisors/partners and attend industry events to source opportunities

Key requirements

  • 2–3 years in business development, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or related commercial role in media, ad tech, or data
  • Strong analytical foundations with Excel and ability to build models for deal economics, valuation, and returns
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial information and present findings to senior leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience crafting executive-level presentations
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious and fast learner with a deep interest in Samba’s products and the TV/streaming/programmatic landscape
  • Self-starter, independent worker who also contributes to team culture
  • Willingness to travel for partner meetings and deal execution
