Systems IVVQ Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead IVVQ activities for a next-generation Electronic Warfare solution, ensuring high-quality, capable systems that meet customer needs. You will guide IVVQ strategy, coordinate across engineering teams, and drive adoption of new tools and processes in a fast, technology-driven environment. You’ll shape how complex EW technologies are validated and qualified, contributing to national security and cutting-edge defence systems. This position offers impact across the project lifecycle with a focus on quality, performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead IVVQ activities across the programme lifecycle
• Develop and implement IVVQ strategies and best practices
• Ensure alignment with project plans, budgets, schedules and quality objectives
• Drive adoption of new IVVQ tools, processes and ways of working
• Verify delivered solutions meet customer requirements and acceptance criteria
• Support and conduct integration, verification, validation and qualification activities
• Produce and maintain systems engineering and IVVQ documentation
• Manage, track and report defects
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle methodologies
• Experience integrating, verifying and validating complex technologies
• Proven ability to lead testing and IVVQ activities in complex programmes
• Strong requirements management experience using IBM DOORS, POLARION
• Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle
• Familiarity with Agile and iterative development
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as MODAF, DoDAF or TOGAF
• Experience of Product Line Engineering
