Overview

In this senior role, you will lead the bank’s digital products and data governance efforts, reporting to the board. You will drive the digital transformation program, shaping product roadmaps, user journeys and data-compliant processes across the organisation. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver value for customers and colleagues, ensuring secure, scalable and user‑centred outcomes. This position combines strategic vision with hands‑on delivery, in a hybrid London setting.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the digital products and processes vision with roadmaps and prioritisation
  • Collaborate with business and support functions to embed new digital capabilities
  • Oversee data governance framework and ownership for accurate data across the ecosystem
  • Governance, risk management and regulatory compliance for digital products
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture with specialists across UX, security and tech
  • Partner with Technology for development and delivery of digital products
  • Work with Group stakeholders to accelerate digital development and optimise ways of working
  • Lead and coach multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality digital experiences

Key requirements

  • 5–10 years’ experience in digital within the financial services sector
  • Proven end-to-end product and process lifecycle delivery
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and iterative development
  • Proficiency in prototyping and building product teams is desirable
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of bank-wide processes and regulatory environment (desirable)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Good knowledge of the Financial Services industry and digital banking ecosystem
  • Relevant certifications in agile product management or aligned disciplines (desirable)
