As a senior leader in NERA’s Antitrust and Competition group in London, you will steer complex analyses and deliver data-driven insights on cartels, mergers, and regulatory matters. You’ll guide multi-project work streams, supervise teams, and present findings to clients, regulators, and courts. You will shape strategy, develop client relationships, and contribute to business development in a globally connected, expert environment. This role offers impact across high-stakes cases and opportunities to grow into an economic expert. You will work with a diverse team to advance rigorous, unbiased economic analysis in competition policy.

Responsibilities
- Lead teams to deliver large-scale, complex analyses and manage multiple projects
- Conduct econometric research across industries using economic and financial data
- Draft memos and expert reports; prepare client presentations
- Influence project strategy and support submissions (oral and written)
- Collaborate with internal experts and external academics; manage client relationships
- Engage in business development activities, including proposals and scoping
- Recruit, mentor, and develop junior team members
Key requirements
- Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude toward client relationships and opportunities
- Desire to become an economic expert in the future
- Advanced degree in Economics (Masters/PhD) with strong academic record
- At least 10 years in economic consulting, government, or regulatory settings focused on competition policy
- Excellent English communication skills; multilingualism is a plus
- Strong empirical analysis skills, including econometrics
- Proven experience in business development and team management
