In this role you will shape the treasury and project finance function to fund and optimise a growing renewable energy portfolio. You will partner with lenders and senior stakeholders to secure funding and govern financial arrangements, supporting the transition from 2GW to 10GW by 2035. You drive treasury transformation, automation, and robust governance to enable scalable growth. Responsibilities
- Lead structured project finance activities across the business
- Primary point of contact for lenders and maintain strong banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with project finance agreements, covenants, and reporting with support from the Project Finance Analyst
- Own group-wide cashflow forecasting and consolidate funding requirements for senior stakeholders
- Monitor liquidity and support effective cash management
- Respond to treasury and financing queries from auditors and stakeholders
- Support hedging activities (interest rate and FX risk management)
- Identify and mitigate financial risks in project finance arrangements
- Drive improvements, standardisation, and automation of treasury processes
- Oversee treasury governance, compliance, and financial control activities
- Line manage and coach Treasury and Project Finance Analysts
Key requirements
- ACT, CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior treasury or project finance role
- Experience managing funding structures, treasury risk management, compliance, and financial governance
- Experience in project finance including debt facilities, financial structuring, covenant compliance, and interpreting IRR, DSCR, and NPV
- Good financial accounting knowledge and ability to apply policies and systems
- Experience in renewable energy sector is desirable
- Experience with treasury management systems and process automation is advantageous
