Overview
In this role you will survey fire doors across social housing, MOD, healthcare, care homes and education settings to verify compliance with fire safety standards. You will work with cross-site teams to supervise installations, troubleshoot issues, and record thorough surveys using digital inspection tools across East Anglia. The position supports ongoing safety compliance and quality in fire protection activities. This is a hands-on field role offering exposure to diverse settings and certification schemes.
Responsibilities
- Survey fire doors across social housing, MOD, healthcare, care homes and educational settings to ensure compliance
- Supervise installations and troubleshoot issues
- Record detailed surveys using digital inspection software across East Anglia
Key requirements
- Up to 3 years experience in Fire Doors
- Fire Door installer background
- Basic IT competency
- Familiar with FIRAS and/or B.M Trada certification schemes
- Experience with using fire evidence-based apps
- Small Basic tool kit
- SSSTS or SMSTS
